Convincing win away at Bournemouth
The 1st team had a fairly easy 9-2 win over Bournemouth in our latest Dorset Shield match last night.
The home side more or less held their own in the first quarter but then our strength in depth started to tell and they never really threatened us for the rest of the game.
The result leaves us with a good chance of retaining the Dorset title this season - we still have games to play against Bridport and Christchurch but should realistically overcome them easily.
We will also have to play Bournemouth twice more this season in the Hampshire League and they are likely to take part in the Lady Richmond Brown tournament in February.

Victory Over Southampton Uni
The 1st team maintained their 100% Hampshire League record with a 10-9 victory over Southampton University at Boscawen pool last night.
With a full strength team, we played well to beat a much stronger than usual University side (who have recently defeated current League Champions Southampton City).

Ladies draw against Bridport
Final score last night was 5-5.
Weymouth & Portland took the lead in the first quarter and were never headed until a goal in the dying minutes from the home team earned them a deserved draw.

Ladies Game V Bridport tonight
Ladies game away to Bridport tonight. Start time is 7pm.
Victory Over Portsmouth
The 1st Hampshire League Div 1 game resulted in an easy away victory against Portsmouth at HMS Collingwood.
The final scoreline of 8-3 didn't reflect our dominance over the opposition and we should have least doubled our goal tally but poor shooting and Portsmouth's Greek goalie kept us to single figures.
