Sun 22nd July - last mini-polo session (i.e the 6:30pm group)
Sun 29th July - last session for everyone else

On the 29th we will be presenting the Dorset League Shield and Cup for the Senior and Junior teams and associated medals followed by drinks etc. at the Portland Roads.

First session after the break is Sunday 2nd September for all groups.

The Dorset Junior Championship cup and medals were presented to the club at the DCASA Gala at Littledown yesterday.

We've also won the Hampshire League, Lady Richmond Brown and Dorset Shield competitions this year which makes this the most succesful year ever for the club under its current name.

Only National League Division 4 left to win now!

Last training will probably be on Sunday 29th July and resume on either the 2nd or 9th September - I'll confirm here once I get the details.

We are planning to hold some games in the sea off the Pavilion during August to coincide with the Monday night firework displays.

We've got training at Exeter on Tuesdays 17th and 24th July followed by a game against Exeter for the 1st team on Tuesday 31st July.

The mini-polo team were outplayed from the start and comprehensively beaten by the Bridport team. Lacking any substitutes, it was tough from the start though we did manage to score a few goals. The team included Tom & Natasha Cain and Hugh and Dervla Ireland.

Despite being short of players, the junior team took the first quarter sustained pressure from the home team well and then started to pull out a lead which the hosts never managed to claw back.

The junior team included Nick Flack, Grant, Niall & Sam Laming, Kelley & Dervla Ireland, Tom Cain, Matt Jones and Luke Studley.
